ISO Standard Revisions

Revised ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards now published!

Publication of the revised standards marks the start of a three year transition period for certified organisations to adapt their systems from the existing ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 14001: 2004 versions.

The revised standards include significant changes and introduce new requirements and concepts. The structure has been completely revised to adopt the new high level structure, a common management system framework introduced by Annex SL which introduces a common 10 clause structure that will be used by all management system standards.

Organisations should start the transition process now by understanding the new explicit requirements as well as the areas of the standards that have been revised. We have produced a number of guidance documents which are available to download below.
