Q-Mark building systems certification

“Building Systems” is a generic term for buildings that are manufactured from pre-designed and prefabricated components produced in series off-site.

This certification scheme is based on the principles of ISO 9001, EN 45011/12, ISO Guide 62/65 and confirms compliance with the main requirements of with ETAG 007, ETAG 012, ETAG 021, ETAG 023 and ETAG 025, whichever is most appropriate to the building(s) to be certified, together with a specific set of performance criteria set by Exova BM TRADA in order to attain a design which performs to a high standard.

Building systems are complex products assembled from factory made components and elements designed to provide specific functions. These could be wall panels, partitions, floor joists, cassette floors, roof trusses or spandrel panels. They may incorporate connections, insulation materials or even services.

Independent certification of a building system enables the manufacturer to demonstrate that it has been manufactured under a quality management system and it achieves a consistent standard of performance.

Why choose Q-Mark product certification?
Product certification is the ultimate endorsement of a product's performance. Products will always be made to achieve a particular performance, whether it's to a British, European or International test standard or simply to the manufacturer's own in-house specification.
