What is integrated management systems certification?
An integrated management system for certification is when at least two different systems are combined while still complying with the particular requirements of each certification standard.
Management systems are often set up one at a time. As a result, they operate in isolation, often to different aims and timetables and sometimes in conflict. Ideally, these systems should be integrated and work together to meet all of the business objectives.
BM TRADA offer integrated management system audits - where one audit covers a single management system which fully or partially integrates more than one management system standard into a single set of policies, procedures and processes.

A combination of quality (ISO 9001), environmental (ISO 14001) and health and safety management systems (ISO 45001) is the most common because these apply to all businesses. They work to the same high level structure known as Annex SL.
